Well, guess who's finally back from the depths of the Mariana Trench? 👀 I would like to apologize to any fellow deviants who follow and view my works. I had been unable to update a journal announcing my sudden hiatus due to medical conditions called Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which I learned runs in the family. It has crippled my hands and rendered them useless for so long, and that's not the only problem that I had been burdened with. Mental health issues made it a struggle to work, and I needed therapy, and the stress of bed bugs, family emergencies, and world events had been very draining on me. I just didn't have the energy or motivation to do anything during this time frame. And then... unexpected family of cats became part of my family, and they took over my life 😅 I now have two beautiful girls and devoted myself to feed the helpless strays (animals are something I'm deeply passionate about) I always meant to announce a break, but as mentioned above, the nerves in my hands made it impossible to so much as brush my teeth. Unfortunately, I feel like a lot of my creative spark had degraded after long years of inactivity. My stories don't have that same quality anymore, so literary works may be structured differently as a result. I still love writing, but for now, I may stick to short stories and oneshots until I'm comfortable with my skills again. Fan made Zelda lore, however, will be planned this year, and I have plenty of exciting ideas and to share regarding the world of Termina. Zoras will be discussed in detail, but they will no longer be my primary focus. During my absence, I've developed an unusual obsession with the Ikanian War. The story I had planned was originally set in this time period through the Zoras' perspective of human conflict encroaching on their shores. But the ideas and characters became too big and too ambitious, I ended up growing attached to a Garo OC who was originally going to be a throwaway character. What this entails for future works are in-depth headcanons, world building ancient Termina, and character development. Both armies WILL be treated as human beings. Neither side is inherently good or evil, as people of all backgrounds exist for both factions. There will also be smaller developments and art of other games that I like, such as "Viva Piñata" or "Endling: Extinction is Forever." Those are a couple of examples, but once in a while, I like to develop concepts for these worlds, so they, among others, are to be expected. I'll also figure things out for Wings of Fire and whatever other children's books I like because screw sappy young adult novels. Give me animals as protagonists! XD I hope to get some art soon. I've been looking forward to posting here and Tumblr again. I have no interest in Amino anymore due to how glitchy, ad invested, and irresponsibly greedy the new owners are. I could literally make a whole journal just ranting about it (maybe I will for fun and to warn people) I will start by making content on "Project Z," which is basically Amino but a lot more functional and visually pleasing. I'm more likely to hang there and looking forward to roleplaying with friends there. After its posted on Z, it'll hop over to DeviantART, so you don't have to worry about exclusive content for an app you don't need or want 😉 However I do enjoy chatting there with my friends, so who knows? ^^ I'll wrap this up now. Again, I'm sorry for the lack of activity, but now that my life's been back in order I feel comfortable enough to return. Here's a quick update for my lack of activities in the past couple of months which may persist for an unknown amount of time. No, my stories are not canceled or suffering writer's block or whatever other detrimental writers issue. In fact, I had already started the rewriting process for Wild Sapphire. Greetings. I would like to apologize for not post that often lately. Unfortunately, life decided to be cruel these last few months. My pets underwent an emergency situation in which my male guinea pig, Rin, grew ill with a deadly infection. My family had to spent the next week  or so giving him the proper treatment and nurse him back to health. There were moments where I thought he wouldn't make it, but thankfully he made a full recovery and had a shift in personality.
